Interview with a higher paying company and see if you can get a better offer. Otherwise this is also good, if you are an able engineer you can easily increase your tc at G by getting promoted and yearly refreshers

Be wary then. California tax is around 35% and rent is insane there. Average rent in MV is around 3k. So if your TC is 150k you will be left with 66k from just rent and tax. Math: (35% of 150k is 52.5k and rent will be 36k a year) so 150k - 52.5k - 36k is 66k
3 years ago I was in a similar position but with Apple. And I am mechanical. I was making 80k in midwest. Got same base and rsu offer. First year was hard, but Apple refreshers made it worth it in the long run
