A lot of us had onsite for Google last week of June and are still waking to hear back (Mine was June 29 for Technical Program Manager). Creating this thread for everyone to post whether they got accept, reject or additional interviews. About me: Emailed the recruiter with a thank you not asking about expected timeline for decision but haven’t heard back. He has always replied my mails very late though! Also last week was an unofficial off at Google due to July 4. TC: $140K
Took a handful of weeks for me. Don't read into the delay too much. You probably only hear back quickly if the feedback is such an obvious 'no' that they don't bother sending it to the hiring committee.
Thanks for the information!
It actually depends on your interviewers not your recruiter, they can procrastinate when writing your feedback and there’s nothing your recruiter can do. It took me two weeks to hear back that I did well and my case was sent to hiring committee.
It took more than a month to go from interview to offer. That’s cuz team matching stage took really long.
Congrats 🎊
I had mine on 6/27 and heard back on 7/2.
OP: did you get any update?
No
Mine told me he heard positive feedback from everyone. Did not get any negativity feedback. But did not tell me individual rating.
Are you doing team match before hrc?
I did not ask him that
It's been 10days since my onsite interview. No update from the recruiter. I've sent a follow-up email. What do I make of it? Is it typical?
What I heard is that if you hear back late that’s good as they need feedback to be entered. I heard back after 12 days that the feedback was good.
Thanks for details... 🤞
Long wait time != positive answer. Just learned it hard way: ( after 12 days waiting I got my negative result.
It'll normally take 2-3 weeks.
That’s surprising. I heard that the recruiter normally tells feedback in a few days. Although the actually offer might take several weeks.
