Interviewed at Google for a strategic partner Dev role 3 weeks ago (first interview but F2F with someone from the product area) but haven't heard back. Is this normal? For context this was a referral, interview went well (he asked if I'd be interested in HQ as this specific role was London based, assume that's a good sign). I met the hiring manager for a coffee chat before the interview too which went well and we clicked. I have followed up with the recruiter twice to no avail, maybe due to Xmas though. I really want some insight as I am interviewing internally for a new role too but want this Google role and don't want to get something else and then pivot again.
I am a PDM. What team? Yeah give some time as folks might just be back this week after holidays
This is normal. For your own sake, please go to a smaller firm
If it was a referral, ask whoever referred you to email the recruiter, just to get a timeline.
Thanks all! I will follow up with my referer. I did follow up with the recruiter twice but I have heard mixed reviews about Google recruiters
My referer is out of office. Expect it's just a sit and wait game then!
Same, but Taco Bell.
Same, but wendys.
Keep the holidays in mind and don’t read into waiting the last 2 weeks.
I am interviewing internally for a role next week. I don't want to move into that and then leave for Google (which I would in a heartbeat). My referral is away till 9th Jan on vacation. Any ideas?
Still waiting on feedback, over 4 weeks now. Starting to question how I did now given I've heard nothing back. Any ideas?
Im still waiting too. Interviewed on dec 12th
I guess I can assume I failed this given no feedback then? Anyone @Google know?
Same, but Amazon
