Some reports flying around that google is eyeing Red Hat (https://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/news/2018/03/20/would-google-buy-red-hat-analyst-weighs-in.html)... thoughts?
I don’t disagree but with the recent acquisition of coreos they control more sigs in K8s than anyone else it would put us back in control. Also open shift seems to be doing well and would give us a good hybrid story. It would also give us a contract in place with almost every enterprise company. It’s a neat idea but I don’t see it happening.
Google should just buy Nvidia
they've made worse financial decisions.
It would buy them a pretty sizeable book of business of companies with tons of servers that need to move to the cloud. Smart move to gain market share.
Agree with this but otherwise universally stuipid
GOOG would suddenly matter and have a real chance in the US public sector.
How much do you want to be a googler?
