I am working in company A on H1B status expiring in March 2021. I got an offer from company B sometime back and they applied for my LCA which is approved and now they will file H1B 'change of employer' petition with USCIS in a day or two. Meanwhile, I got a better offer from company C as well couple of weeks back, and they have submitted the request for LCA and will file H1B change of employer petition after 2-3 weeks. I really want to join company C, but want to keep Company B as backup in case there are issues with the visa transfers. So, my question is whether I can keep my options open and let the 2 petitions be filed around the same time. Does USCIS allow that or will that be a problem? Are there any risks if I let both companies B and C file H1B visa for me with USCIS? Are there considerations around bridging and porting that need to be looked into? Has anyone been in this situation and share their experiences? Thanks.

Thank you! This thread is from 2017. Have there been any updates since then on the rules/policy around this? Or is it the same currently?
