H1B filed by company A now want to go to company B

Company A filed my H1B under bachelors this year. I graduate next month and have 3 years of OPT. Company B, one of the big 4s is giving 30 percent more than A. I obviously want to take it. What are the implications if my visa gets picked and approved?

You can do a H1B transfer on that case. Its simple process as far as I know

I am in a similar situation, if you get it you have to wait til 10/1. The H1-B transfer mentioned above is for people who already have h1-b, where transfer is easy. At this point I am hoping I dont get the visa so I can transfer out of my current company

If you leave before getting the visa. Not sure whats gonna happen, but it will definitely complicate things

Working in big4 as h1b can be headache, especially when you are in consulting. 1) managing LCA for every project of the cities other than the city you are approved can be a pain. Every project, you have to make a LCA amendment and many people get RFE during this process. 2) Also the firm might not guarantee green-card process for first 3 years. 3) most of times, unreliable immigration lawyers If you are excited for the pay bump and would like to accept the company b offer, consider these variables. More questions, plz dm.

Even if you get h1b lottery from company A I think you can decline it and ask company B to file next year in which case you will only have 2 attempts .
