My hair is quite long now and has been termed 'wild' once or twice. I'm in the process of interviewing now for hardware engineering and was wondering if this will be an issue for f2f interviews or if I need to cut it.

- Interviewers already have the job, they have nothing to lose there.
I agree that it 'should not' matter, but why intensionally handicap yourself?
If the hair is sloppy or generally bad grooming for a scheduled, planned interview, then what subtle message does that give about organizational skills and even your code organization.
