For someone who has only working with basic sql and word docs for requirements, how do I get an entry level tech job? Either as a dev or data analyst. What are my learning resources that you can recommend?
Have a cs degree
Yes join a (technical) client support role and you can work your way into either product management/ business analyst or software if you really put in the work.
I've heard that web development is a decent place to get into the Dev field without too much barrier to entry. You will need to learn how to code of course. JavaScript/HTML/css and some framework like react or angular or Vue.
Ew, ntt. I remember my days with them. If your out of the Dallas location you could try sql support engineer at msft. Cancerous but great start
If you have no significant development experience and are looking for an entry level position, starting in a Support role might be the best way in the door.
