I'm pretty impressed by the company mission and want to really give my best shot. But I understand this won't be a leetcode focused interview but instead will focus on testing / completeness etc. My language of choice is likely Java but I'm just wondering how it can be time consuming to do certain things for example like intercepting http requests and parse to Json. Is the interview adaptive to account of the language? Tips / thoughts?
Practice and memorize calls for basic stuff like reading/writing file, parsing json, sending receiving sending requests. These are the things that you shouldn't have to think about when solving the question. Apart from that if you practice enough LC you should be fine. I did my interviews in Java as well and didn't find it time consuming.
Fair. Curious what did you use for sending / receiving requests ? I use spring boot which makes it an annotation but seems like overkill for the interview
spring boot is just a packaged framework. even with spring boot you’ll be using some http client to make http calls to external service
Re: Java being more verbose. Interviewers will typically be well calibrated on how long it takes to do various things in the language you use.
Use JavaScript
So Java doesn't work ? Have you been through the process ?
