How does salary negotiation work from a recruiter's perspective?
1 - How do recruiters get paid? 2 - Do they get a 'personal budget' to split between candidates? 3 - Do they lose anything by getting turned down after they have given out the best offer?
1. Salary, bonus, RSU. Just like you. 2. No. Budget is owned by hiring manager/org. 3. They lose the time they spent working with you, leadership and comp team on your offer.
