Hi, I have an offer from Google Zurich and have started the visa process. I have heard that usually 3 years of work experience is required for work visa in Switzerland. I have around 18 months of experience. What are my chances of visa rejection? Update: I have got my Visa approved. Thanks everyone for the support :D
Why not get back to India? There is no better place than home.
Curious how you applied to Goog Zurich from India / US ? Did you fly to Zurich for interview or were interviewed at another location ?
Please share with us on your process here.
Just FYI, Switzerland is very strict about implementing its immigration laws. Very strict and very by the book. If the requirement says 3 years, why would you even attempt with 18 months?
It says "several years of experience". They haven't officially given a number.
Hey any updates? Did they reject your visa application?
Hey! No they didn't yet. I got 2 approvals ( Labor market authority and Swiss federal Migration authority). Third one is still pending. Will update when I get the status. :)
Thank you maaKaBhoot for updates. I also want to apply to google zurich office
Don’t worry. You will get your visa and permit L. But living in Switzerland as immigrant is nightmare.
How so?
You’ll have to extend permit every year. Forget about citizenship, it requires 12 years of living. Learn german since all official letters and documents are in local language. You’ll never get Swiss friend since they hate immigrants
Interested on this as well, how long did you receive the working visa?
I’ve sent you a DM :-)
Did you get a referral from Google Zurich or Google Banglore?
Where are you from?
Looking at the user name, he's an Indian. But could be in the US
I am from India.
