We are around 30 and went off birth control about 3 months ago. That’s I guess normal but I feel like it’s becoming a big stress and I wanted to know what type of timeline people on blind experienced to maybe get more context :-/ Thanks in advance!
Don’t stress at all specially if you are f. And specially don’t go wild during 2nd week. Go by ovulation kit. Have it twice or thrice in that period and you would be good.
Where is Under 30 and 30 mins
This made me chuckle 😂
Stress is biggest thing which does not help in conceiving. Take a month off and go travel .
Are you getting normal period cycles? You should also be having sex during your ovulation window
This is good advice. Can't stress it enough.
Got off BC, took 5 yrs to get body/mind in order and got pregnant a month after wedding. Just stop obsessing over it, they will come when you truly accept them into your life.
Wife used the Flo app to time us. Worked brilliantly for us and she got pregnant on first (conscious) try. Of course, YMMV. This assumes everything is normal.
This should be a checklist, as miscarriage has nothing to do with getting pregnant initially. Took me 3 months both times but lost my first.
Agree. Miscarriage, followed by 1-2 months trying for each of the two kids.
Go to a fertility specialist! A test for male fertility is around $300 and worth peace of mind. Female fertility is a bit trickier. If you have an app like Petal it can help track fertility and increase chances of conception. Also ladies need to start taking prenatal vitamins before trying to conceive. Men should take fish oil to increase quality of sperm and eating pumpkin seeds increases quantity. Best of luck.
Nice tips there!
I didn’t even come inside and I got my first son. So I’d say - 1 year since he came out 1 year too early. I love him but rip my vacation plans :(
This may be crazy but I think give yourself a full year of trying before you worry. Birth control can take a while to work it's way out of your system.
True... don’t even try for 6-8 months... let your body cleanse out... and get to regular cycle... then try... this will reduce risk of miscarriage and any possible pregnancy issues
