How to remove my public info from the internet.
I would like to remove as much as possible information about me that is currently online. Is there a service or a guide for that?
So two things here.. do you want to remove your social media information or any other info like court records for ticketing and citation? The former you have option in social media sites to make you not show in the search results.. for latter you need to contact attorney they help you to clean that info..
It’s basically impossible if you are including public records. I’ve looked into this myself. The Facebook and google shit is the least of any legitimate concern unless you’ve done something stupid like say a lot of racist or sexist stuff.
Nothing like that. I feel violated. I feel my private info is deemed public without my permission by someone who assigned themself the right to make that decision for me. Recently I searched myself and I was blown away that internet knows which car I drive, where I live! That is crazy imo.
I understand. But nothing you can do will remove it.

First of all, the info could not have gotten there without you posting it. And secondly, unless it is your credit card number, it is hardly going to make a difference to you. Why not focus on something that makes a difference?
That would be interesting answer to give to all people that fight for our privacy :)
