I left my previous company 7+ months back. I was logged in to my previous company's slack workspace from my old phone which I didn't use since more than a year. Yesterday I switch on my old phone and I can see all channels and current updates from my last company. How could that be possible? Why I can still see all those sensetive data? Don't I automatically get kicked out from that workspace? 🙄
IT didn't do their jobs...
Yeah... this isnt a slack issue lol
IT was apparently slacking in their job.
If your Slack admin has provisioning/deprovisioning enabled at the IDP level (ie, okta/onelogin), then disabling your okta would disable your slack. Otherwise the IT admin needs to disable your slack account separately (just as they would need to for GitHub or email).
Your slack isn’t tied to LDAP
As far as I know it was tied to LDAP
Then your account isn’t de activated lol !! Or the integration between slack and LDAP isn’t functioning properly
