News circulating that ARM has also suspended working with Huawei with respect to chip design. What is this Huawei thing all about. It is really a security issue or a just political dance battle. What what exactly did Huawei do to land in such waters?
tl;dr: dash eyes stole so much tech that orange man bad got angry. More or less.
90 days return all stolen IP or GTFO
Here is the thing. No intelligence agency will disclose their evidence to the regular Joe (and subsequently Zhang, Wang and virtually everybody else). There is a conflict between sovereign states, 'proofs or not happened' not gonna fly.
There's no incentive for US intelligence agencies to keep it a secret, because that only delegitimizes their actions more. The reason no accounts of Huawei spyware have been released is because none have been found. So yes, it is a case of "proofs or not happened".
I would kill to see 'proofs'! Kidding, I am friendly and do not kill people. I went through military training at some point in my life and just dont see intelligence/military exposing any evidence. Have you heard what happens to guys like Snowden or Assange?
Hopefully this will give RISC-V (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) a shot in the arm.
Huawei has an irrevocable ARMv8 architectural license, they can use that to make processors from scratch like Apple does
Apple still rely on ARM... no chip tech companies can survive without this.
