I94 record
urgent- preparing H1B visa transfer documents but found my I94 admission visa type was entered wrong from the website (correct on my passport). would this be a problem or i should reenter the country and have a new record?
If you are in a rush, call them and schedule appointment
Go to your nearest airport with a uscis office,explain them the situation and they will fix it. I ran into the same situation and went to the San Jose airport(I live in the bay area) to get the I94 fixed.

I got if fixed online. You send an email to the nearest deferred port of entry. They will send you instructions. Just attach copies of the docs and you are done. Mine was done in an hour same day. I mean, you won’t hear back from them but checking the i94 website i saw my record was corrected after about an hour from sending the email. Very efficient. I used the sfo email address.
Wish USCIS was also this efficient!
