Do you think they will keep paying the 250k in the valley vs paying 150k in say austin/colorado springs/tampa. How confident are you in your job security if your company losses 10-30% of its value in the matter of months? Lots of questions but more of let's discuss what happens when your company cant afford you anymore.
Correct, companies respond by shrinking back to a previous size and circle the wagons around their HQ. This usually means their newest remote offices go first and then down the line all the way back to the last place to cut is HQ.

A lot of economic indicators are pointing to a slowdown but will be nothing like 2008. Maybe a smaller version of 2001?
