Market research or looking to make a switch?
I know quite a few current and past employees who said its a weird place to work and they aren’t making money
Really? Had heard they were actually doing pretty well financially
Used to be a customer, but they introduced crazy fees and mandatory service charges. Went to Amazon Prime Now and never looked back. Hard to see how they will stay in business, unless it's succeeding in markets Amazon doesn't cover.
With Amazon Prime Now what's the appeal here?
They were a nice trailblazer that showed other companies and stores how to do it... Now all stores are doing home deliveries themselves, so not sure what instacarts future looks like.
Have heard good things about both their financial performance and growth. Not first hand knowledge though
No
Did you read their Glassdoor reviews ? What do they say?
For a company of our size we growing really fast. We raised a lot of money recently, and is pretty well capitalized to make few big bets. That being said, next few years is really gonna make or break our company. The retail space is changing really quickly, and amazon is looming over everyones minds. I think right now is the perfect time to join tbh, its gonna be obvious if its gonna work out within a year or two
Just adding that working at Instacart is pretty great.
Fully agree with this. It’s an interesting time for the industry and Instacart is well position in the space. The next few years will be defining for us. I personally feel it’s a great place to work - strong culture, genuinely good people. Overall, good autonomy and lots of impact. The last round was huge and gives us a lot to utilize.
I don’t know I got rejected by their tech screen even though I was 100% sure I nailed it 🤩
maybe the interviewer saw your 100% performance as a threat to his position?
Same experience here
