As a person who spent 6 years of his life in spirituality trying out Astral projections, telepathy etc, I can tell you that while you are experiencing it and you are in that phase, it will feel real. You will be convinced that it's real. But once you quit that path for sometime, you will begin to wonder was that real at all.
I have come to the conclusion that it's real in your head to the point that you can't distinguish between that, and reality. But it's not real in reality. To prove that, once you are comfortable in Astral projection, ask someone to write something on a piece of paper and then put it in the box. Then you go and try to read it. You can't.
Anyway, it's a nice phase of life when you are into these things. Time flies by and you would feel superior to a lot of people thinking that you understand something that they don't. But in the end all paths leads to the same place.
If you have any doubt about spirituality or enlightenment, feel free to ask me directly. Life changes after enlightenment. Good luck.

Interesting point of view. Regarding spiritual enlightenment, would you be willing to share a few points to start with? What led you to it? Thanks!
I started with spirituality. Deep into different kinds of meditation. Got into Chakra meditation for a while which was a interesting phase, but I recommend against it without proper guidance. Then I took the logical approach to it and then mixed matched spiritual with logical and finally I realized it. Overall if I see, it took around 9 years to achieve it. My advice to you would be don't stress to much about it. Everything is already enlightened, realizing it is a bonus.
Your mindset and principles would change drastically, and that sums it up. You won't become a God. Human limitations will still be applicable. On the negative side, your personality might be considered darker than before if you let everything out lol.
