      MBA is not necessary, and LC is completely off the mark lol... you need to impress the higher-ups (read: connections/politics) while demonstrating dealmaking hustle & leadership potential. It's a relationships-based business where whom you know is more relevant, and you need to think outside of the technical box.

    TC looks too low to be true especially at the upper levels.. MD level is supposed to be around $1m a year.

      The top bucket shown is not for MDs exclusively (who may be a small fraction of "Director/MD", since the attrition rate is fairly high at that point, and non-managing Director TCs drag down the average).
