Long term the companies you mentioned above will not thrive. They can survive but not thrive. Stick to the big 3 cloud provider.
Good luck
Aim for highest take home, learn as much as you can in the cloud job and keep applying. Once you have could experience it would be easy to switch.
Also, get certified .
I think people could guess how MapR would turn out, it was not a surprise.
Amazon guy is right about Cloudera. You will observe from layoff news that "which team in OCI" matters too. Nevertheless, OCI is definitely a safer bet than Cloudera.
Fireeye might turn out any which way, I don't know much about security.
In general things internally are smoothing out and people are finding their rhythm post merger. In terms of long term financial sustainability, cloudera can be around longer than you plan to stay there. It has cash and signed recurring contracts.
Work is interesting and I feel I'm getting paid decently, they took care of us after the stock dropped a lot. If it goes up I'll be even happier :)
You also can use this as a stepping stone as others are saying. I constantly get pings from top tier company recruiters. We're still small enough that the work has impact and you get interesting projects.
Cloudera is a best steppingstone for a great career
