Is it good to be versatile in technologies?

Aug 28 12 Comments

I have around 4+ yoe as software engineer (working in India) and till now I have been working on multiple things like distributed computing, worked on monolith and microservice architecture, cloud services like Amazon, gcp and azure, Ruby on rails , java, etc. Currently I am getting 46 lpa and what I have realized is I should now focus on one specialization which helps me further to increase my compensation. Also recently ML, bid data , data platform interests me a lot where i have no experience on this. So what should I focus on now, which companies and what type of position ?
