Is it worth it to learn Chinese as an adult?

My parents are Chinese, but I was born here. I can talk about basic things but I often don’t know the tones of words, so I often get them wrong. I passed HSK4. I think it will take me 5-10 years of learning for 1 hour per day to have working proficiency - being able to work in China as a non native speaker. When I look at it rationally, I can’t really justify the ROI. Any thoughts? Is there any tail benefits such as raising money, copying Chinese companies, more opportunities to go back to China?

It'll probably just end up like daddy zuck. Enough to wow the media and have a Chineses wife, not enough to convince Xi to let FB in

You call zuck "daddy"?

Learn Japanese instead. You can watch Anime without subtitles 😂

I think for you the level of effort will be low to learn the language. It’s worth it

I have a feeling that those posting in Chinese are trolling, but I don't know what they are saying.
