Is tech obsolescence planned on iOS and Android or is it really a battery issue (or some other issue)?

I have a iPhone6s and Pixel 2, Pixel 2 requires restart at least twice a month. It was great first few months no lagging, now camera and apps are embarrassingly slow sometimes. I am new to Android so I don't know if it's a normal thing and require additional task/memory cleaner app. Compared to my iPhone which hasn't been updated since I bought it(in late 2016) battery and performance is amazing. Also Pixel 2 GPU is not as robust as iPhone 6s, Instagram and other image editing apps crash more often than iPhone. IPhone handles my mirrorless camera images pretty well for editing.

Funny how you blame that company that didn’t get caught intentionally slowing down performance

Oh left Apple out just coz I didn't want to make the post too long to read. IPhone 6s works great I don't update Apple products after I saw my iPad and MacBook slow down. Plus no one is talking about Google Pixel 2 slowing down, maybe MKBHD briefly touched on that in his video comparing Ram on Android phones.

Is that what your overlords tell you? It was all just a big misunderstanding?

No you're *a* guy who does the work. I doubt you have access and insight to the entire SDLC.
