Job change for better position
Almost with 9+ experience and at software engineer 2. Accepted a lower position due to career gap. Should I just just switch jobs and go for senior software position or positions don’t matter in Bay Area ? Also for new job is ur previous position considered ?

Positions matter, and previous position is considered but you also need to do well in the interview to back it up.
