Hello, About me: I have completed all my interviews for a Engineering Manager role for a team at LinkedIn Sunnyvale. I have a total of 15 years exp with 4 as a Manager. I am coming into LI from a startup and have a non FAANG offer and in the middle of the interview process at Amazon. Question: what Comp package is being offered for EM roles? This are the general numbers I got from Paysa and LinkedIn salary Base: 180-200K Bonus: 25-30K RSU: 100K Sign on: 25K-35K Anyone have other data points? Thank you in advance.
So, you completed the process but have no in hand offer? Why count your chickens before they hatch?
RSU is super low
I think u must get at least 200k RSUs, seeing ur work ex, vested over 3 yrs
Atleast 400K RSUs over 4 years. Bonus is usually a percentage of base and for an EM it'd be probably 15% Sign on seems decent.
Based on the experience, this might be a little bit higher for year one, but negotiable. Good luck
Thank you all for the comments. The RSU I mentioned were per year. I am expecting the offer next week and will update with the numbers then
What was your offer? I am sort of in the same boat right now
That number from paysa for annual TC seem about right. You could potentially negotiate a bigger sign on, I've seen up to 50k given. Bonus is 15% for first line managers, so 30k on ~200k base is about correct. 190s for base is the norm but I've occasionally seen few offers slightly higher than 200k. Rsu if 400k over 4 years is about right.
100k rsu has got to be a typo
Pyasa is BS... 100K RSUs usually freshers get here...
I think it's 100k per year. That's definitely not a fresher's offer.
