Went through phone interview. Was asked two questions, which I coded online. Interviewer said I nailed it and now got a reject from hiring committee. How does it work? Reject without onsite?
Could be a mistake of the recruiter, reach out to them if you feel strongly
Maybe they were lying?
Recruiter said reject came from hiring committee and not interviewer...Thats what I am trying to figure out...
If you were told over an email, could be a wrong template. Over the phone, chances of this happening is nil
They didn't like your handwriting on the online coding site. You should've listened to your second grade teachers.
Good one dillweed. ;-)
You nailed the failure maybe?
Haha..good one. I can tell how bad I did. I did not nail it the way the dude said but I know I did not bomb it.. Anyway moving on...
I’d doubt the interviewer said such thing.
Turns out I did well in thinking about the approach to which the interviewer said, Excellent you are on the right path. However when it came to coding I was sloppy. I accept it was me. Lessons learned. Moving on
They probably had someone in mind and just wanted to meet the numbers.
