I received a post-consulting offer for the Operations Strategy senior manager - a business role - at Lyft in San Francisco. The offer is $170K base; 200K RSUs / 4 years I have a top tier MBA and an Ivy League PhD (in a non-Computer Science field) and 11 years of experience (4 years of top tier consulting experience + 7 in a non-Tech blue chip firm) Appreciate gratefully thoughts on the initial offer and negotiation.
I might be late in the game but i agree with HydraM and believe that adding to this post will help everyone else in this group. I'm also in a big tech blind (sharing economy) and software engineers get 400k, 500k, 650k rsu. I got mad when i found out... Really really really mad. $200k seems to be standard for non SE roles.
RSU seems low. Ask for more, at least double given it is paper money
