What would be your thoughts on these companies. They have similar TC. And I also don’t want to compare just based on TC alone. All the offers are in building ML / DS platform teams. In general what are your thoughts about them, pros and cons irrespective of TC. Thank You.

It is okay if you do not have anything to add or comment on the original post or if u think it is not worthy of even adding any insight. There is no reason to be unnecessarily rude.

As I mentioned in the original post I am looking for unbiased views on aspects other than TC alone. Higher TC or lower TC would naturally introduce a human bias towards higher TC; I intend to avoid that bias; and moreover the TC’s are similar here.

All great companies. Which mission aligns best to your sense of impact & significance of what your efforts contribute to?
That’s the main question then. Since you want to leave TC off the table for the time.
Which is the shortest commute - another great question - what’s your time worth.

I have some software engineering background and now work with Spark for feature engineering and try to learn ML on my own.

  • If you are an engineer with a real software background and want to grow, I would rank Adobe the lowest. Engineering / software development at Adobe is going to the dogs and most people who have a pulse are being hired. Gone are the days in hiring those with the right tools for the job. Sorry if I am insulting someone on this platform, but it’s true! Adobe has too many people with an arts background or a “weekend coding camp” leading their engineering teams.
