I’m a liberal and I’ve recently been appreciating the Trump presidency for the first time. He is so unbelievably bad at the doing even the simplest things that I find it difficult to believe that there will ever be another “Tan suit scandal”. He has also inspired an entire generation to become more politically active. More young people voted in 2018 than in any previous generation. He has also proven to be a good stress test of our institutions. I’m fairly certain that there will be a reigning in of the executive branch after his presidency. He has also brought to the forefront a lot of the societal tensions that we might not have normally discussed in the same way. Things like racism, social inclusiveness, voter suppression and voter fraud, immigration. Additionally he has singlehandedly galvanized the country in support of Obamacare and now Medicare for all. Not to mention he has completely eroded the moral hill republicans have attempted to stand on.

Bunch of life long government workers (military, law, judges, fbi, administration, etc.) who hasnt felt the pain of global labor hyper competition and out of touch. Trump is bringing in competition back to government. No more cushy position pontificating....goal oriented. Lose the house... fire republican leaders, presidential popularity drops... fire the the guy in charge of your agenda....startup style trial and error because institutions produced out of touch beaurecrats who are just feathering their own nests....fail fast...because recession is around the corner....the new guy is ineffective, has bad ideas proven wrong....replace with a new lady with better ideas. Dont you get laid off if you or team dont perform ? You like deadweight in your team who plays politics? During obama adminstration, best jobs were in government and DC area home prices were #1in the country. Time to make DC not the place for our best and the brightest.....
