I sold a big chunk at $110 like a fucking moron
The stock has reached its peak, much thanks to the 20 billion stock buyback program mostly. All the big name deals are worthless (using the balance sheet to buy customer business) when the only business keeping the wheels turning are O365 and Windows. Unless thereās a reverse stock split (in my moronic dreams mostly), thereās a very very low chance weāll see the price go anywhere beyond 150 even. If youāre very risk averse and want to rest and vest your portfolio, stay in, else move to greener pastures.
What are the greener pastures?
Amazon, Google, Coke, etc.
Are the people in 'disagree' and 'strongly disagree' camp for msft themselves?
Who takes seeking-alpha seriously, seriously?
It is hard to take any Seeking Alpha article seriously which starts off with technicals. I don't buy into the argument on growth will be limited. Every 10-12 days I read news on Microsoft winning big contracts. Microsoft has multiple businesses which are growing fast:- 1)Office 365 2)Dynamics 365 3)Azure 4)LinkedIn
The only think keeping the ship afloat are O365 and Windows. Azure is a cost center writ large. LI also adds a small but significant portion to the bottom line, and the news you read is what I mentioned before- itās a non-sustainable business model. Chevron is moving workloads to AWS, after signing a multimillion dollar deal with MS for Azure š that in itself should tell you volumes about what is wrong. In the cloud space, if you ever wanted a strategic bet, it would be in the following order- 1. AWS 2. Google Cloud 3. Oracle/ IBM-Redhat/ Azure And Bob Evans be damned for being the loudest paid shill on LinkedIn š
Does Mac haters have a choice ?
