Hello there! There are a lot of discussions about offers here, but not for designers. Can you help me evaluate the offer from Microsoft? YOE: 15 Senior Designer, L63 Redmond Base: 160.500 Stocks: 50.000 Signing bonus: 15.000 What do you think? Thanks!

How come you’re applying for a Senior Designer role with 15 YOE? Surely, you’re at least Principal Level? You should ask for a higher base (minimum 180) and more RSU (at least 100k). Did they also mention annual bonuses? And vacation leave?
My the US experience is not 15 years. All my experience is 15
You should look for principal roles there and get higher TC...by a lot. What’s your role at Amazon, what team?
I am not with Amazon right now. The last team was AWS IoT.
The design for AWS IoT was really good...before this Polaris nonsense came into play. If you’re the guy who designed the original Greengrass stuff and IoT console then you need to go for a principal role at MSFT. AWS isn’t doing stuff like that anymore.
