Based on recent news looks like the new user acquisition is the biggest challenge for Netflix growth. How do you think they can increase the revenue and keep existing user engaged? FYI, I’m not saying they are not growing, I’m just curious what can be their next move.
Stop sub leeching by enforcing IPs

Selling your data via choose your own adventure movies
Unfortunately, likely this.
Despite rumors, we don't keep any of the bandersnatch choice data. Our business model is 100% subscription, so we don't need to sell data the way free social networks do.

Prob selling the user data more than actual ads.
Produce original content
There are 1B pay TV subscribers in the world. It's an understatement if Netflix is targeting half of them. Also Netflix is $10 while pay TV is $100 in US. Netflix just needs to keep producing good content and Hollywood combined won't be worth as much as Netflix in 10 years. Not unlike Google vs Newspaper.
Bird box was watched by 45MM accounts in less than a week. If people actually paid to watch this new release it would have beaten acquaman at the box office around $600MM. So they should release movies, show a trailer and charge $4.99 to watch it ahead of other folks on netflix. After a month, it will be available to watch for free. This way, they can make additional dough and keep growing their subscriber base. Amazon prime already does this.
