New Grad Salary Negotiations

Currently have one offer for a New Grad Product Management position and in the process of applying/interviewing with a few other companies. I was told that new grad salaries, especially for programs like APM is less negotiable because they want the entire APM class to have around the same salary range so they limit it. Is this true? and if it is, what are some tips you guys suggest? APM = Associate Product Manager
