New grad Apple offer

I got off the call with my recruiter at Apple who told me the hiring manager really liked me & wants to bring me on. Recruiter needs to consolidate all the other feedback but it seems like I should get an official offer soon. The recruiter mentioned he could help me get a higher offer if I have existing offers in place but also said as a new grad they have pretty standard packages. I’m in the interview loop with a couple of other companies but no other offers yet. Ideally I’d like to end up at Apple since I’m most excited about the position there but want to make sure I don’t shoot myself in the foot when dealing with the offer/negotiation phase Any tips or advice? The position I interviewed for required 3+ experience (So it wasn’t your typical new grad position), and only reason I got through resume screen was b/c of a strong referral

Express your enthusiasm about working for Apple, then try to get 120-130k base, 25-35k starting bonus, and 120-140k RSU. Maybe more if you have strong competing offers.

It’s unlikely I’ll have super strong competing offers (at least not compared to Apple). When talking to my recruiter do I need to send him actual offer numbers or is it enough to just say I have an offer from ABC & XYZ?

Don’t need to do either, it’s a matter of disclosing what you think will help. Anecdotally, Apple is less crazy about seeing competing offers than say Google, and you might get a decent comp package without talking about them at all. I would say you should get a number from them first (perhaps trying to express your ‘expectations’, perhaps just asking for more), since weak competing offers could actually anchor you lower. Once in, your manager can give you nice RSU refresh if they are keen to retain you.
