How's work at OCI Seattle? WLB pay etc... I had a recruiter reach out to me for interview. How's the interview process and questions? TC 170k Yoe 10 yr
Haba seems like a dick, but unfortunately he is right
I literally just went through the loop (for security role). From what I can tell OCI culture seems to be pretty great. It has a start up feel to the office and the people that I’ve had a chance to talk to were all very intelligent. WLB seems to be pretty good based on the people I’ve talked to and I didn’t see anyone that seemed to look like they wanted to blow their brains out. Additionally based on what I can tell OCI is willing to live and die by the sword. It sounds like it’s an all in proposition. Many folks that come onto blind have negative things to say about the organization but in general “anonymous” apps are full of trolls and people who tend to post negatively. YMMV but I for one am interested in hearing back from them. The roles all seem very interesting and Oracle is absolutely putting their money where their mouth is and offering top tier compensation for the right people.
If you want to go there for two years, you will be well compensated. Have a friend who was a 65 at Microsoft with TC of 310 get 470 at OCI for a similar role.
Some trolls here for sure. I’m part of OCI Inbound PM team and I really like the team and Oracle in general. Culture is great, work-life balance is really good and Oracle has great benefits. Been with Oracle for almost 4 years and lots of opportunities and challenges here. Recommend OCI org and Oracle 100%. Plus, I’m very optimistic about what we have lined up for the next months and very happy about what we have delivered so far in such short time since OCI has been launched just 2 years ago.
Curious. What level are you there? I have heard they won’t even meet my current TC of 360k as a level 65.
Run baby run. Friends who went there are coming back
Why?
There is a little feature called search in this app. Thank me later
