I was trying to install an app from apple app store, i notice it no longer has touch access, instead it asks me my password. After i enter it wont let me use my valid amex card for payment verification, and all this for a free app that i might delete in a few seconds. The last time i tried changing password that i dont remember using touch access it took me in loops from website to phone and back, it kept asking me to enter passcode, i entered my recently changed passcode which seems to have not been updated on their icloud, it kept rejecting my passcode, eventually i was tired and tried to use my old passcode and it works😂. My mac, doesnt have any autoupdate options checked, it started auto updating when i was watching netflix without a warning or my consent. I understand there is a sudden rush to protect data, but come up with decent workflows, how hard is that?
We need users with better memory - it’s not really our fault you clicked okay to auto update and now forgot about it. Mac never auto updates unless you enable it - I should know, I have kept it disabled on my work laptop
I never clicked on any auto update and i am sure of it, can you with all your high and mighty technology prove that i did?
Be careful what you wish for - it’s trivial to track all user interactions when you control the hw and sw. would you REALLY like it if Apple could show the screen capture of you clicking ok on a prompt 3 years back?
You need to improve your *writing workflow*, I can barely understand what you’re even ranting about. Also, password != passcode.
Lol, i know that password is not the same as passcode, what i mentioned was exactly right, if you dont understand get a reading comprehension, writing down your workflows is as confusing as your workflows itself
