Hi friends Got an offer from Oracle for new grad on a team in Oracle Cloud Platform (PaaS). Many people here like to talk about OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and saying that you should only consider Oracle if it’s OCI. I was wondering if people are referring OCI as specifically the IaaS teams or if it applies to Oracle Cloud in general. Appreciate your input. Fuck. 125k for a fucking new grad position
Is this a “Fuck” of disbelief or scoffing?
Both, i make way less at amazon after being an industry hire
Masters or bs?
B.A technically since anything in L&S is a B.A. at Berk. Physics and molecular cell biology are a Bachelor of Arts while undergrad business is a Bachelor of Science
5200 units of $5200/year ? 5200 units for new grad is pretty cool.
Oracle is currently 54. So 5200 sticks is ~280k. Don't think Oracle would that unless some niche expertise
Oracle’s new grads are actually paid better than pretty much any other company at the moment. For PhDs, starting packages can go as high as 300k.
This is standard offer
A new grad who is already working for lyft!
Internship?
Wow, 200k offer for a new grad!!
Hi, may I ask how long did you get the official offer letter from them after the recruiter told you that you passed the onsite interviews? Thanks!
Autonomous database is Larry’s new baby. Not OCI anymore.
Good point. Forgot to include core db stuff. Anything on OCP in general?
