I’m not a high TC bro like some on here. If I upgrade, I’ll have to make monthly payments for the maximum amount of time.
Try finding a used iPhone 8 Plus on CL or EBay.
I had the 6 for 4 years. Had my first one replaced after it went dead on me 2 years in. No damage just died. About a year in with the replacement I had to keep my charger plugged as it didn't last me more than 4 hours, I did recently replace the battery and it's much better . Still takes 3 seconds to open the camera I recently upgraded to the Note 9. No regrets. It's great in everyy aspect, I hope to God the device lasts me at least 2+ years. Apple is over hyped and I'm done with them.
I’m still on my 6s and don’t see a reason to upgrade
A lot of us have a camera lens instability issue that Apple denies and won’t or can’t fix. If your camera works well, then consider yourself fortunate.
Maybe I do have that issue and don’t notice. Or my phone’s camera has always been safe due to using good phone cases so it hasn’t been damaged ?
If you don’t need new features (like NFC reader capabilities) or you like your headphone jack, pay the $80 and keep it.
+1 Definitely keep using it for a year more at least. The phones next year would be a huge step up. I'd hold out the upgrade until then.
I buy cheap Android phones and pay monthly, and the monthly gets reimbursed. I don't get all the apple hype.
