Owning car in SF
Is it worth having a car in San Francisco? To get around even if your using public transportation to get to and from work?
Enjoy my car. If you have a garage it's very convenient. Cars aren't necessary though.
No I had one and barely used it, easier to walk

After paying SF rent I can't even afford new underwear forget buying a car
Not unless you have a garage or dedicated spot. Lived and worked in SF for 5 years using nothing but muni, zipcar and ride sharing. Saved a ton of money and never got a ticket or towed. If you can afford it go for it. Otherwise it’s not worth it.
Car in SF means you pay the broken window tax. No need to have one.
I had an old car in SF. And when I wasn’t using it I put it up on Getaround for some passive income. Worked great.
You don’t need a car in SF. Take Muni, bike, Uber, and put the difference into investments.
Cars are a tool for the poors, such as Uber/Lyft drivers
