PERM approved as I was about to make a switch to Facebook. What do?

Hey, my PERM was finally approved by MS, but I already signed an offer and am in the visa transfer process (filed last week). FB told me they'd start the GC process as soon as I started there. To my understanding, it'd take another few months to get my I-140 approved, because they'd need to wait for the original PERM approval to get printed etc. I have about 2yrs left on my H1B and am from a European country with no backlog. Should I switch and restart or wait? I want to switch as soon as I can, but want to make sure it doesnt set me back much. current TC 160 new TC 350

Facebook can start PERM even without you joining first. Thatโ€™s what Microsoft did for me as without they starting first I wasnโ€™t willing to sign the low balled offer back then ๐Ÿ™‚

Get your i140 done in premium and leave as soon as its approved. You can push your fb start date by couple of months. No big deal

It sounded like it takes up to 3 months to even file the thing, because they are waiting for the printed perm approval. Not sure if it's worth waiting that long. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

No it doesnโ€™t take that long afaik. Typically a month at max. Lock in your priority date and even if things go south at fb, you will have previous approved i140 to fall back onto
