Paytm Position Offered : Technical Lead

TC: 38 LPA

Grab Position Offered : G4 (Senior Software Engineer)

TC : 42 LPA

MokaPos : Position Offered : Senior Full Stack engineer

TC : 34 fixed + every 3 months Perf bonus as max extra salary (some startup no idea on it, any info will be appreciable? )

Any idea with respect to these parameters :

Work Env.

Good work

Growth in future

Good in terms of annual hike

Which one of them will be good?

Grab has 15% bonus, do they generally pay all of it or they usually pay very less percentage of it?

Just wanted to know how much of this perf bonus we can get on companies like Amazon, Grab do we generally get it all which is promised?
      Jul 12
    • Amazon Amz91
No company give you all the bonus , let's take average case always , above average performance always takes 70 percent of bonus specified

Paytm is going strong with funding , designation is much better than other companies. I would have certainly gone for paytm.

BTW is everything fixed in paytm ? Last time I heard it was based only

Grab, paytm fixed part is same.
1)Grab Perf bonus is far more then paytm perf bonus
2)Grab sign on bonus is also good as compared to paytm
3)Grab is giving ESops as well

Is ctc you have mentioned considers everything ? In that case grab seems to be better deal financially. But at this high range I would concentrate more on impact of work , if you can ignore few lakhs here and there.

Then you should add per year RSU in TC and remove joining bonus from it.

Additionally , in paytm everything will be driven from india. So quality of work and amount of impact you can make will be higher there .Not sure about grab though. Most of the mnc doesn't have better work in india

Culture is different thing , my above comment is only with respect to work quality. Which is should be great since everything is driven from india

Paytm has very bad work culture. Plus read the terms and conditions for vesting stock options. Your vesting date starts one year from October 1st. If you join after October, it would be April 1st. Moreover, exit procedure from the company is quite painful.
