I'm an engineer with decent understanding of algorithm and DS, I want to prepare for Google and Facebook interview, so I'm thinking should I read cormen algorithm book or just solve leetcode. Im setting 3 months for this preparation. Help is appreciated.
Cracking the coding interview
I’ve started with InterviewBit. Just first day, but it’s what suits me. More structured than Leetcode
Totally, thanks
Decent understanding of algorithms and DS is already enough for Google interview.
But I want to prepare for worst case interview questions also, Bec I don't to wait for another 6 months.
Leetcode first and cross-check Cormen when new concepts show up
Also suggestions on design interview preparation.
I recommend starting with the Princeton Algorithms course, including the exercises and quizzes. Then, pick a book/website and start solving problems. I use Cormen as a reference if I need to dive deep into a topic.
Sedgewick is better. More approachable.
Cormen is a reference work, not for reading through.
Solve rubix cube.
