Hello all, I have been in the industry for 10+ years, hold a BS, MS and MBA, but suck at project management. Every time a project comes to my hand, I initiate it without planning or sweating the details. This usually comes back and bites me and affects my credibility. How can I remediate this? Any good reads, video series or resources that will help me get a framework and help me get better at this? I see this as a major shortcoming in me and also my biggest blocker, when it comes to my personal and professional life. Would love any help here?
Acrually take the PMP as it teaches the discipline of project management. Much of it you will not use but it lays a strong foundation. I believe all leaders should learn this skill. It will change how your approach scope, requirement, schedule, project risk, quality and cost etc.
This is the first time I've heard that project management isn't easy. Seriously.
Check courses on project management on coursera and udemy, read articles about how to set a vision and how to build a roadmap.
What’s your role? Please don’t tell me it’s a Project Manager! Lol You might need to hire a project manager or coordinator?

What we need here is a governance council of three project managers and two certified agile coaches.
