I just signed an offer from another company. Has anyone quit before filling for transfer? i want to take a break and travel internationally before joining so I will not incur unemployment days in US.
i would recommend ask your new company to do premium processing on your new h1b. Quit after your new h1b is approved. Ask for a late start date.
Don't quit before transfer
After transfer is approved can I still travel and join later? It’s okay to have that gap in employment?
why not just delay the new job, and take paid or unpaid vacation.
It’s discretionary time off at LinkedIn = no time off
It's not okay to have gap in employment for h1b, as far as I can recall
