Any tips on cashing RSUs? Do you sell them as they vest or do you keep the stock for the long term?
You have more stock coming so sell 100% as it vests. Or put in another way, if you had the same amount in cash would you buy more stock?
Depends on the company, your overall portfolio, your financial needs etc. If you think company will do well and company’s stuck only represents a small fraction of your otherwise well diversified portfolio - keep it If company is flaky and company’s stock is a bulk of your portfolio - probably better of selling some and investing money somewhere else
Sell immediately. As mentioned above, if you have a large portfolio and vested company stocks is < 10% of it, it's fine to hold if you believe it has good prospects. I personally would never go above 10%, though.
Depends on company, I can tell you people who held AMZN stocks have warned handsome profits over past 2-3 years
So many risk adverse people here haha
Hold on Apple and stor
I exclusively hold amzn. Change my mind please.
Sell immediately and use the proceeds to diversify and feed into retirement. You are limited to selling RSUs in open windows and that really limits your options.
I sell them Right away since there are minimal tax consequences
