My friend graduated from Masters and received 2 offers, one from Credit Karma and one from Cornerstone OnDemand. Credit Karma - Software Engineer location: Charlotte, NC The company is not yet public so stocks are hidden assets. Cornerstone - Associate Software Engineer location: Los Angeles, CA Package: both have same package. (around 140k) Yes LA is very expensive but that company is offering real stocks.(cornerstone) Suggestions or opinions? Thank you

Can’t speak for Credit Karma but Cornerstone is a good place for a Jr dev. Lots of dev days, opportunity to grown FAST, and a promotion culture that will boost her quickly if performance is satisfactory. Also, it’s LA. Cmon
CK in Charlotte is the shit. You'll love it and you'll be making waaaay more that the same salary in LA. From what I hear, the office is expanding in a few months too.
