Recommendations in credit karma
Anyone made use of the recommendations provided by credit karma, in terms of credit cards or auto refinance? How reliable are the approval odds shown here (for credit card recommendations) and the estimated savings/interest rate (for auto refinance)?

The approval odds are solid. Itβs all based off of existing data. If you have βExcellentβ odds that means youβre about 80% likely to get the product.

It's in their interest to get you approved so they the odds they mention are probably right. However their recommendations will also be heavily biased towards their best kickbacks, so don't assume they have your best interest in mind. In other words, so for own research in what cards to get. And look up churning while you're at it π
Keep in mind those recommendations are the revenue stream for CK, so Iβm not sure how genuine they are.
Thatβs exactly why they are possibly genuine.
