Referral in NYC

Can anyone refer me for software engineering positions in NYC? I am a PhD grad with 0 YOE. So far I have only interviewed with Google (the only ones that contacted me after sending my resume). I Passed the hiring committee and I am currently doing team match, but I have heard that this can take forever and there is no guarantee I'll get an offer (specially outside MTV). I sent my resume to Dropbox, Facebook, Uber and Amazon, but none of them have contacted me.
