Sammamish if you can afford it
That's what I was leaning towards. Redmond seems untouchable. Sammamish is decent with good school but price is going upwards. Bothell is comfortably affordable (for me). Not sure about schools and neighborhood.
Sammamish is almost as close to Redmond now. Unless you are ok with budget then Sammamish is better school and community wise.
Anywhere but Bothell
Bothell is fine, at least the southern part where I lived. Sammamish traffic suck ass so consider that aspect
Bothell is better if you ever want to switch to Amazon!
How so? Isn't the 405 traffic worse than 520.
I was comparing it with Sammamish
Interesting. Can you elaborate more?
There used to be a sign on the way to Bothell: “Welcome to Bothell...for a day or for a lifetime.” Someone crossed out the “Bot” part of Bothell and the sign was...funny sounding :)
Consider Snoqualmie pass as well. Cheaper than Bothell but new community. I90 from exit 25 to exit 15 is breeze. So overall commute time only adds about 5 minutes. Close to ski resorts as well. The new community by Pulte is pretty good as well minus strong wind.
Snoqualmie Pass is exit 54 or so.
He probably meant Snoqualmie Ridge. It is not far from Snoqualmie casino and overall decent community. Can as well look at Preston and North Bend for older house with large lots.
Klahanie/Sammamish/Issaquah Highlands/Issaquah in this order.
Klahanie is great if you want to over pay for a cookie cutter house and have your neighbor's house 6 feet from yours
That better fits Redmond ridge or Highlands description. Klahanie lots aren't super big but houses aren't super close to each other. Especially in the older part of Klahanie. There a re e couple of neighborhoods like you described, closer to QFC but not all Klahanie like that. Got to look at specific house's location. I'd say it is decent balance. Prices lower than sammamish's plus you get lots of trails, parks, playgrounds, tennis courts and two swimming pools.
Kent
Awesome place to grow real gangsta as I've heard.
